HornetPro

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated June 3, 2026 · operated by Hornet Productions Ltd. (Alberta, Canada)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the activities and content that are not permitted on HornetPro. It applies to all customers, their users, and any sites or content hosted on the Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

1. Prohibited content

You may not host, transmit, or distribute through the Service:

  • Content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes another person's rights (including IP).
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report this to authorities without notice.
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Personal information of others collected or shared without consent.
  • Malware, exploits, phishing kits, or tools designed to compromise others.

2. Prohibited activities

  • Attempting to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, other tenants, or third parties.
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code beyond what's expressly permitted.
  • Cryptocurrency mining or other computationally abusive workloads on shared infrastructure.
  • Reselling the Service except under a written agreement.
  • Generating or hosting content that violates a third-party API provider's terms (e.g. Anthropic's usage policies for AI-generated content).

3. Email and messaging

No spam or unsolicited bulk messaging. Email and SMS sent through HornetPro features must comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), CAN-SPAM (US), and equivalent laws in your recipients' jurisdictions. We may rate-limit, block, or suspend accounts that generate elevated complaint or bounce rates.

4. Resource use

Plans are sized for normal website use. Sustained high CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, or database use that affects other tenants will be flagged and may require an upgraded plan or move to dedicated infrastructure.

5. Custom domains and DNS

You're responsible for the domains you connect to the Service. You may not point a domain you don't own to your HornetPro site, nor use a domain that infringes another party's trademark or impersonates them.

6. Vulnerability reporting

If you find a security issue in the Service, please email support@hornetpro.dev with details. We won't pursue good-faith security research that follows responsible-disclosure practice.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or restrict offending content or features without prior notice if immediate action is needed, and terminate accounts for repeated or material violations. Where practical we'll notify the customer and give an opportunity to remediate.
